Appointment booking for clinics and therapists.

First visits, follow-ups and group classes for each therapist. Patients book online and get a reminder, and you keep short notes without turning Nola into a medical record.

How booking works

How an appointment gets booked.

A first visit and a follow-up need different lengths. Separate visit types keep the day on time.

  1. 1The patient picks a visit typeA first visit is longer than a follow-up, and each has its own price.
  2. 2With their own therapistPatients book the therapist they see, at the times that therapist works.
  3. 3Reminders before every visitAn email the day before and an hour before, or a text message with the SMS add-on.

What a clinic switches on.

Each module is one switch in Settings. Turn on what your business uses and leave the rest off.

Sensitive data

Health data on Nola

Clinic and beauty-clinic workspaces can store notes needed for appointments. Treat clinical notes as sensitive: limit staff roles, keep retention tight, and use the DPA tools under Provider → Privacy & GDPR. Nola is not an EHR. Do not store full medical records here.

Questions from clinics.

Can I keep clinical notes in Nola?

Keep them short. Client records hold notes with a setting for who can see each one, but Nola is not a medical record system, so full records stay in your clinical system.

Can patients book their own therapist?

Yes. Each therapist has their own working hours and visit types, and patients pick one when they book.

Can staff see only their own patients?

Yes. Give a therapist the Coach role and tick their resources. They then see only their own calendar and the clients who booked with them.

Do my clients need an account?

By default, yes. Clients sign in with their email, which lets them see, move and cancel their bookings. If you allow guest bookings, clients can book free and pay-at-venue services with their name, email and phone, and confirm from an email link.

What does it cost?

Free covers one bookable resource, such as a court, chair or room. Plus, Pro and Business include every module and are priced by the size of your business. Every new business gets 30 days of Pro free, and during the pilot we send prices on request.

Create your clinic's booking page.

Sign up with your email and tell the setup assistant about your clinic. It proposes your services, prices and opening hours, and nothing is public until you publish. One therapist is free.
