Check who changed what in the audit log

The audit log records important changes in your workspace with who made them, when, and the values before and after.

How-toChecked against the app on 24 September 2026

The audit log is a running record of important changes in your workspace. Use it to answer questions like "who cancelled this booking?" or "when did the price of this service change?".

Open the audit log

  1. Open Settings → Audit log in the sidebar.
  2. The newest entries are at the top. Click Load more at the bottom to see older ones.

Each entry shows:

  • What happened: the action in words, for example Booking and Cancel for a cancelled booking.
  • Who did it, by name or email, and the role they had at that moment (owner, manager and so on).
  • What kind of record it touched, and the date and time.

See the details of a change

Click an entry (its right side reads Show diff) to expand it. You see up to three blocks:

BlockWhat it shows
BeforeThe values before the change. A dash means there was nothing before, for example on a new record.
AfterThe values after the change.
DetailsExtra context saved with some actions, such as the type of an import.

Click Hide diff to collapse it again.

Filter the list

  • All entities is a drop-down of the record types in the entries loaded so far. Pick one to show only changes to, for example, bookings or clients.
  • Filter by action (e.g. booking.cancel) takes an exact action name. It must match the full name, such as booking.cancel, client.merge or pass.redeem.

What gets recorded

Nola writes an entry whenever a sensitive change is made. These include:
