Sell passes and memberships

Create visit passes and membership plans, issue passes to clients and use a pass to pay for a booking.

How-toModule: Memberships & passesChecked against the app on 24 September 2026

A pass is a pack of visits, like a 10-visit card. A membership is a recurring plan with a booking discount and a list of benefits. Both live under Products in the sidebar.

Create a pass

  1. Open Products → Passes.
  2. Under Add pass, fill in Name, an optional Description, Visits, Price (EUR) and Valid days.
  3. Optional: pick a service under Limit to service (optional). Leave Any service to accept the pass on every service.
  4. Click Add pass.

The pass appears in the pass list. Use Deactivate to stop issuing it without losing history, or Remove to delete it.

Issue a pass to a client

  1. On Products → Passes, scroll to Issued passes and click Issue pass.
  2. Pick the Pass and the client. The price defaults to the pass price. Change it for a discount or a free pass.
  3. Confirm. The client gets an in-app notification if they have a Nola account.

Nola records the price on the issued pass. It does not add a payment to your register, so take the money through Cash and POS as usual.

Use a pass to pay for a booking

  1. Open the booking from the calendar or the bookings list.
  2. Under Settle, the client's usable passes are listed with visits left.
  3. Click Use pass. One visit is used, the booking is marked paid and a transaction is recorded.

A pass works once per booking, only while active and only for its service if it is limited to one.

Manage issued passes

The Issued passes table filters by status: Active, Used up, Expired, Revoked or all. Per row you can:

ActionWhat it does
+1 / −1Add or remove one visit.
ExtendPush the expiry date out by the number of days you enter.
RevokeCancel the pass. It can no longer be used.

Create a membership plan

  1. Open Products → Memberships.
  2. Under Add membership plan, fill in Name, Description, Price (EUR) and Interval (Monthly or Yearly).
  3. Set Booking discount %. Active members get this discount off their booking price.
  4. List Benefits (one per line), such as "Priority slots".
  5. Click Add membership plan.

If your business uses Stripe, click Sync to Stripe on the plan so recurring card billing uses a matching Stripe price. The column shows Synced when done.

Follow subscribers

The Subscribers table lists each member's Plan, Status, Renews date and Billing (Stripe or Demo).

StatusMeaning
Active / TrialingMember benefits and the booking discount apply.
Past due (retrying)A renewal payment failed. Stripe retries.
SuspendedThree renewal payments failed in a row.
CancelledThe member stopped the plan.

Members get a reminder about three days before their plan renews.
