Choose payment methods
Pick which payment methods customers see at checkout and check which processors are live.
Payment methods decide what your customers can pick when they pay for a booking online. You set them once on one settings page, together with your VAT, invoicing and wallet top-up rules.
Open the settings
- Open Settings → Payment methods in the sidebar (under Money).
- The page is called Payment methods and invoicing. It has five panels: Provider status, Checkout methods, VAT & e-arve (Estonian e-invoice), Invoicing and Wallet top-ups.
- Change what you need, then click Save settings at the bottom.
Check the provider status
The Provider status panel shows Stripe, Montonio and Stebby, each with a badge:
| Badge | What it means |
|---|---|
| Live | Nola's connection to this processor is set up. Customers are sent to its real checkout. |
| Demo mode | The processor is not connected. On the live Nola service, customers who pick a method from this processor see an error instead of paying. |
You do not enter API keys yourself. If a processor you want shows Demo mode, contact support.
Pick checkout methods
Tick the methods you want to offer under Checkout methods. Customers see only the ticked ones.

| Montonio · Bank link | Pays by Estonian bank transfer through Montonio. |
| Montonio · Card | Pays by card through Montonio. |
| Stripe | Pays by card through Stripe Checkout. |
| Stebby | Pays from their employer wellness benefit balance. |
| Wallet balance | Pays from their prepaid wallet with you. The balance must cover the price unless you let the client go negative. |
| Invoice (pay later) | Books now and pays later. The booking stays unpaid and shows up under Payments → Unpaid. |
New workspaces start with Wallet balance, Montonio · Bank link, Montonio · Card and Invoice (pay later) ticked.
What your customers see
After booking, the customer lands on Complete payment with the price and the service. When you offer more than one method, they choose under Pay with, then click Pay now. Bank link, card and Stebby open the processor's own payment page. Wallet payments settle at once. The customer can also click Pay later from My bookings and pay from their account later.
