Discount codes
Create percentage or fixed-amount codes that customers enter when they book online, with limits and an end date.
Discount codes give customers money off when they book on your booking page. You choose the code, the size of the discount and how often it can be used, and Nola tracks every redemption.
Create a code
- Open Marketing → Discount codes in the sidebar.
- Under New discount code, type the Code, for example
SUMMER10. Letters are turned into capitals and each code must be unique in your business. - Pick the Kind: Percent off or Fixed amount off (EUR).
- Enter the value: Percent (0-100) or Amount (EUR). It must be more than zero.
- Optionally set limits (see the table below).
- Click Create code. The code is active right away.

How customers use a code
When a customer books a service on your booking page, the booking form has a Discount code field. Nola checks the code as they type and shows the discount before they confirm. The discount is applied to the booking price when the booking is created.
A code is refused when it is switched off, has expired, has reached its total limit, or the customer has already used it the maximum number of times. A percent code takes that share of the price. A fixed code takes the amount off, but never more than the price itself.
You can also put a code into a booking link so it is filled in for the customer. On Marketing → Links, add a Booking preset link and fill in Discount code (optional). Nola gives the link a short URL and a QR code that you can share in a campaign, on social media or on a flyer.
Manage codes
The Codes table lists each code with its Value, how many times it was Redeemed (and the limit, if any), and Valid until.
- Untick Active to pause a code without losing its history. Tick it again to bring it back.
- Click View redemptions to see who used that code. Click Show all redemptions to go back to the full list.
- Click Delete to remove a code for good.
The Redemptions table shows every use: the code, the Customer, the Discount amount and the date.
Discount codes and other discounts
Discount codes are separate from dynamic pricing rules and from membership discounts. Pricing rules and membership discounts apply automatically. A discount code only applies when the customer enters it.
